![]() ![]() Set the Penal Colony and Employee of the Month edicts. Make a large number of mines (putting as many as possible on each resource patch) set to Profit Protocol and maximized budget, build the housing on-site together with facilities (tavern, restaurant, grocer). I'd tend to recommend more or less the same strategy for most maps. A lot of it you don't see coz it doesn't play out on the map. They stop working hard and steal, they commit crimes and stuff like that. So when they hear about empty homes when they are in a bunkhouse or far away from work they get pissed. They seem like stupid little NPC but they work on algorithms. Imagine they can see the almanac without seeing it. Empty homes cost a fortune and it pisses the people off. No you don't the edict lasts a while just keep an eye on it and build as you need. You wanna be expanding not building bunkhouse.Ī big housing mistake people make is they activate the building edict and think right I've gotta build them all now. Eventually you'll demolish all those anyway. The bunkhouse is for the poorest of the poor. Don't have anyone living near the factories.Ī couple of cheap parks goes a long way so another factor is if you place this flat here is there road access? Park? Those sorts of things matter on most buildings. Is it polluted? They would rather live a bit further away if it's the factory town. Eventually you'll build a mansion town nearby for the rich individuals. In the agricultural section all business are in full wages so they will be able to afford tennament there. How much are they getting paid? If they are getting paid enough and you build too low quality they won't move there and won't be happy. When you think of this type of decision consider a few things. Stuff like that and you won't go wrong mate. In the rich areas have no space for shacks to appear. ![]() Don't have arcades in the rich areas, stuff like that has big impacts. People put so much focus on one single trade route but it's best to have a range of supplies. The pirate mission where your on the volcanos for example, I completed that again with a breeze and 10 million in the bank. Once I figured out the dynamics of the game it became piece of piss. You'll find they do more shifts per year and can create much much much more profit. Have all nine in one space with ranches nearby. The farms should be placed where the most green is for multi cultural. You've played it now so you know which objectives send you Into new styles of play ie new era. Keep them happy from the start and you won't ever worry about money or invasion. They get you to do that so you build mansions as the mission is designed to increase life quality. The free wheels edict really speeds up the process probably my fav edict. Then when you have the car factory and they can buy cars from shopping malls. Set up decent Infastructires with bus routes they bring in money aswell. I wouldn't have the agricultural near factories. By the time you hit the wars you want a couple of Million. Don't exceed too far out at the start as it's a long mission. ![]()
